The Domaine de la Garenne Rouge terroir celebrates minerality. Red wines have clay and limestone marls with the rosé wine growing in limestone soils. These wines are fermented in stainless steel temperature controlled tanks. A part of the production is aged in oak barrels, enabling the creation of well-balanced wines, subtly but not excessively oaked, with characteristic aromas of red fruits such as morello cherries. Round in the mouth with a garnet-red appearance flecked with hints of violet. To be consumed between 14° and 16°.
Domaine de la Garenne Blanc wines are made from grapes gown in limestone caillotte soils, clayey-limestone terres blanches. The white wines from Domaine de la Garenne have musts obtained from slow pressing and selection of juices. This wine is carefully settled and aged on fine lees. This produces wine that is in crystalline appearance with gold flecks. During tasting, notes of citrus and white-fleshed fruits are superseded by floral and mineral aromas. To be consumed between 10° and 12°.
