Haut Lorca's goal was to produce a wine that’s out of the usual standards of Bordeaux, made with ripe fruit, pure varietal expression and roundness in the mouth. In a modern style but that remains true to the terroir where it comes from. This terroir is relatively cool which allows to preserve fresh aromatic characteristics and a gustative balance, even was picked at full maturity. Organically managed vineyards, located in the higher part of the Fronsac plateau, along the Isle river, tributaries of the Dordogne river. Looking to express what’s unique to this location – “not just another Bordeaux!”
